Brighton Catholic Primary School is a Catholic primary school with a strong individual, family and parish focus. The school has an effective pastoral care programme. A strong academic focus is a key element.

CURRICULUM NEWS—WHAT IS HAPPENING IN 2011?
The school has embarked on an integrated approach to the teaching and learning of English through a programme (Read, Write Inc) that commences with a very strong phonics basis. The programme commences with an oral base in Kindergarten and continues on a mastery basis. An extension of the programme affects children in Years 5 and 6 (Fresh Start).
